WASHINGTON (AP) — Federal investigators seized more than $16 million worth of drugs from a residence in the United States and shipped them to a New York City pharmacy, officials said Monday.

The U. S. Food and Drug Administration said the shipment was made in a laboratory that sold a generic version of Viagra to a New York City resident who had been living with his father for many years. The suspect then made the purchases and took them to a pharmacy in New York City, the agency said. The suspect then turned over $16 million worth of drugs to the New York State Department of Homeland Security. The total value of the shipments was $2.5 million.
